So, all you Laker lovers or anyone not giving the Pistons a snowball’s chance in hell of winning the title, did Game #1 change your mind?
Don’t underestimate the East! That “boring” brand of basketball is what shut you down…it’s called DEFENSE.
Now, I know you’ve never seen anything quite like it before. Hell, the Dallas Mavericks have no idea what it is or how to spell it. And Mark Cuban can’t even buy it, it’s that special.
The Lakers may still win, but you gotta give the Pistons and Larry Brown props for not folding under the overwhelming odds.

Just goes to show that a true TEAM will beat individuals nearly every day of the week.
Larry Brown is a real genius, in my opinion. I was extremely sad to see him leave Philly.
