BCS…what the hell?
Good point Ed…
LSU is in a bad spot this week because if they lose there is no way they can make into the #2 spot and play for a National Championship. However, if they win, they also hurt their chances of moving up because because they’ll beat Georgia, a team they already beat this year and in doing so, weaken their own strength of schedule.
What the hell is wrong with this picture!?!?

It is pretty sad to beat a team twice and not gain anything of value for it towards winning a national championship. I can’t wait for the day that we can have some type of system where it is fair for all the teams. All we can do is hope and pray that USC falls against OSU this weekend and LSU wins and we won’t have to worry about any of this BCS crap. I’ll be at the game rooting LSU on so all you tv watchers root for OSU to win please. 🙂

Well we slid into the Nat’l Title game, but its a shame how it all came about. I’m not for sure the best two teams are there. How can a team take a beating like OU did and still be #1 in the BCS rankings???? As Berman says maybe its the BSc title game.

Yeah, things could NOT have gone better for LSU. Congrats there.
But what an absolute JOKE the BCS has become!
The only good I see from this is that Michigan will get trounced by USC. 😉

That’s the wrong thing to do—-show me this website, then dish on Michigan. You could find yourself sleeping on the couch. Go Blue!!

I hate to say this, but I’m for BLUE this time around cause they are talking about CO-CHAMPS if both LSU and USC win so if LSU wins I need MICH. to win. Now if LSU loses I’m all for some USC butt whoopin on the boys from that other state back east. 🙂 Sorry AMY! Now for the couch thing for Trent that couch of yours is comfy so just give him the couch and a DOOZIE and I’m sure he would be good to go for the night!!!!

Congrats to LSU and USC. It could not have turned out much worse for the BCS committee.
Michigan looked like some junior college against USC and LSU beat the BCS #1 team. Now, there will be a split championship, precisely the circumstance the BCS was put in place to protect against.
I must say though all the coaches involved are total class acts and have handled their comments and their team’s attitudes extremely well. Kudos to them!

I have heard so much lately on this whole CO-CHAMP this and that and I heard this one point that I believe is very true. All Division I Presidents/Coaches and whoever else signed off on this BCS crap. So here is what I heard. Since all them signed off on it and the SUGARBOWL was the BCS CHAMPIONSHIP TITLE GAME why is everyone saying that USC are CO-CHAMPS? If they agreed to the whole thing way back in the beginning than they agreed that whoever played in the TITLE GAME whichever BOWL it is for that particular year would be the NAT’L CHAMPS! I may be showing some favoritism since LSU is my team, but in my eyes LSU is the NAT’L CHAMPS for 2003 and USC is 2nd in line since LSU is carrying that crystal ball around and not USC. If we have to share so be it, but if you sign off on something don’t go around saying you are CO-CHAMPS when you know the title game was played on the 4th and not the 1st. By the way NEW ORLEANS is the place to be. I had a great time at the game and that will be something I will never forget. Oh yeah BOURBON STREET is DA BOMB!! WINK WINK!

I’m glad the BUCKS rep. the Big Ten well. I had thought for a vey short while to root for Blue for our Conf. sakes, but that was only about a 3 second thought.
I like the CEO from Gateway (#1 in Plasma TVS right now) offer for a another game. Offering some good $ towards the schools if they would’a accepted. I guess it was the NCAA that said no. Remember, at one time the NFL was split in 2, and they said they’d take a chance with one more game, which obviousily became the Superbowl.
